Found in Kenya, Tanzania and Madagascar in coastal bushlands and woodlands at elevations of sealevel to 500 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a shorter stem carrying a few to many, radially spreading, attached to the substrate, mostly unbranched, flattened to rounded triangular, irregularily undulating roots that blooms in the fall and early winter on 6 to 15, simultaneously, erect-spreading, densely to 15 flowered inflorescence with distinctly sheathing, acute to subacute, single nerved bracts.
