Found in Sulawesi at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing twig epiphyte with a short stem carrying 2 to 3, small, lanceolate leaves and blooms in the fall and winter on a 6" long, laterally flattened, to 6" [15 cm] long successively 1 to 2 at a time, few flowered inflorescence with triangular, imbricate floral bracts each giving rise to a single flower.
