Common Name Clowes' Miltonia [English Orchid Collector 1800's]

Flower Size 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm]

Found in Brazil at elevations around 800 meters as a large sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with narrowly oblong-ovate, compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, linear-ligulate, subacute, yellow green leaves that blooms in the fall on a racemose, axillary from the base of the pseudobulb, slender, erect or arching, 2' [60 cm] long inflorescence that has 7 to 10 successively opening flowers

This species requires even well watered conditions year round with bright light.
