Found in Sao Paulo State Brazil at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with slightly flattened, basally thick, gradually tapering towards the apex pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying 2, apical, narrowly lanceolate leaves that blooms on an axillary, 9" [23 cm] long, erect, 6 flowered inflorescence.
