Common Name Hoehne's Mormodes [Brazilian Botanist 1900's]

Found in Rondonia Brazil in Amazon rainforests at elevations around 100 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, elliptic-lanceolate to fusiform, slightly compressed laterally pseudobulbs and carrying numerous, oblong-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the pseudopetiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on an erect, arising from the nodes on the lower half of the pseduobulb, to 4.8" [to 12 cm] long, to 35 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in a dense cluster.
