Common Name The Kamchatka Neottia [A penninsula in Siberia] - In China Bei Fang Niao Chao Lan

Found in Kazakastan, Kirgystan, far Eastern Russia, Gansu, northwestern Hebei, central and western Nei Mongol, northeastern Qinghai, north Shaanxii and central and northern Xinjiang provinces of China in humid forests and forest margins at elevations of 2000 to 2400 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial without leaves that blooms in the summer on a slender to robust, pubescent, 1.6" to 6" [4 to 15 cm] long, laxly to subdensely, 12 to 25 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 4, membraneous tubular sheaths and narrowly ovate-oblong, membraneous, abaxially hairy, acute apically floral bracts.
