Common Name The Kuanshan Neottia

Flower Size

Found in south central Taiwan in forests at elevations of 2600 to 2700 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a rhizome giving rise to an erect, slender stem carrying 2, opposite, at the middle of the stem, deltoid to ovate suborbicular, membraneous, acute, broadly truncate below into the subsessile base leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, terminal, peduncle pubescent, provided with 2 sterile bracts, rachis 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, pubescent, laxly 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute, less than half as long as the ovary floral bracts
