Common Name Suzuki's Neottia - In China Wu Mao Dui Ye Lan

Found in Taiwan in humid forests at elevations of 800 to 2200 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a ridged stem with a sheath towards the base and carrying 2, opposite, towards the middle of the stem, sessile, ovate to deltoid, acute apically, truncate, rounded below into the base leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a green to purple, pubescent becoming glabrous above, 1 to 4" [2.5 to 10 cm] long, laxly 10 to more than 20, flowered inflorescence with ovate-triangular, acute apically floral bracts.
