Common Name The Many Nerved Nervilia
Flower Size .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long
Found in New Caledonia at elevations around 200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature szied, warm growing terrestrial with a globose tuber giving rise to an erect, articulated stem carrying a sterile or not, glabrous, cordate, apically obtuse, dark green mottled light green, 6 to 7 veined, petioalte base leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, 2.2 to 3.2" [5.5 to 8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with narrow, tubular, light green, purple striated floral bracts and carrying an erect to slightly decumbent, not fully open flower .
