Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, pendent, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to a flexuous, leafy stem carrying 8 to 14, erect-patent, falcate-lanceolate, acute, glabrous leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a short, rachis papillose-puberulent, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, subdentate margins, externally papillose-puberulent, slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are yellowish to green-yellow.
