Found in Thailand, Sumatra, Java and Borneo at elevations around 500 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with close set stems carrying 6 to 16, not jointed, obliquely linear, apiculate leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, much longer than the leaves, nodding, peduncle .24 to .6" [6 to 15 mm] long, rachis 1.8 to 3.6" [4.5 to 9 cm] long, angular, cylindrical, glabrous, densely many flowered inflorescence with subulate floral bracts carrying flowers in whorls of eight.
