Found in New Guinea at elevations around 250 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to a substrict, several leaved stem carrying erect-patent, free part obliquely-lanceolate, acute, glabrous leaves that blooms in the fall on an elongate, cylindrical, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with patent, ovate-lanceolate, acute, glabrous, a bit shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
