Found in southcentral Madagascar in humid forests at elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a branched, elongate stem carrying ovate leaves that blooms in the fall on a 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
