Found in northern Madagascar as an epiphyte at elevations around 2000 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect, flexuous stem enveloped by leaf sheaths carrying lanceolate, obtuse, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on a lateral, single flowered inflorescence.
