Found in Sao Paulo Brazil at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with clustered, smooth, shiny, bright green pseudobulbs and blooms in the summer on an erect, basal flexuous, smooth, glossy green, 39" [to 100 cm] long, paniculate inflorescence with the lowest branch being just above the pseudobulb and each branch has several attractive flowers
