Common Name Terete Oncidium

Flower Size to about 1/2" [to 1.25 cm]

Found in Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama in disturbed, low evergreen forests at elevetions of sealevel to 500 meters as a medium to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with short, broadly truncate towards the apex pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, cylindrical, becoming pendant with age, acuminate sulcate leaf that blooms on a paniculate, 1 1/2' [45 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb and ocurring in the winter and spring.
