Found in penninsular Malaysia and Java at elevations of 400 to 600 meters as a medium szied, hot growing terrestrial with erect stems carrying 10+, spread 1.6" [4 cm] apart along the length of the stem, ovate, acuminate, larger on one side of the midrib than the other leaves that blooms on an erect, 4" [10 cm] long, pubescent, to 12 flowered, closely spaced, inflorescence with a pale red, lanceolate floral bract that is almost as long as the flower.
