Common Name The Swamp Living Palmorchis

Found in Heredia province of Costa Rica in tropical wet swampy forests at elevations around 75 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with several, plicate, elliptic-ovate, apiculate to shortly acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, perduncle slender, 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] long, rachis .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with several lanceolate, heavily veined bracts and carrying flowers with green sepals and white petals.
