Common Name The Three Lined Palmorchis [refers to the 3 lilac lines on the lip]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Colon privince of Panama in rainforests at elevations around 799 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with several, plicate, elliptic to obovate-elliptic, shortly avcuminate, narrowing below intothe 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long petioalte base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, teminal, slender, peduncle to 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescnece with oblanceolate, concave floral bracts.
