Common Name Anita’s Paphiopedilum [Wife of Gus Benk Discoverer of species in central Sulawesi]

Flower Size 3 to 3.2” [7.5 to 8 cm]

Found in central Sulawesi at elevations around 1600 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with 4 to 6, oblong to oblong-elliptic, obtuse, green and heavily purple mottled beneath, grey green and slightly veined and darker green mottled above leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, 6 to 8.8” [15 to 22 cm] long, purple & finely pubescent, single flowered inflorescence with purple, ovate-elliptic, obtuse floral bracts.
