This orchidis found in the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 1830 meters small sized, cool to hot growing terrestrial with narrowly oblong or elliptic-oblong, obtuse tesselated dark and pale green leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, pubescent, to about 10" [25 cm] long, terminal, single flowered, inflorescence with an ovate bract covering 1/4 of the ovary.
