Flower Size 4 to 4.8" [10 to 12 cm]

Found in Sulawesi on limestone cliffs and hills at elevations around 700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with 4 to 7 green, coriaceous, obtuse leaves that blooms on an erect, brown pubescent, 14 to 20" [35 to 50 cm] long, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence.

Braeme in 2004 suggests that this species could be a hybrid.
