Common Name Esquirol's Paphiopedilum [English Orchid Collector]

FOund in northern Thailand, northern Vietnam and southern China this herbaceous humus epiphytic species found at 800 to 1800 meters on NE faceing benches on steep slopes in semi-deciduous broadleafed forests above the opening of limestone caves and is a cool to warm growing plant with clear green leaves that blooms in the spring on a single flowered, erect, terminal, pubescent inflorescence.
