Common Name Mrs. Godefroy's Paphiopedilum [French Orchid Enthusiast]

Flower Size about 2 1/2" [5 to 7 cm]

A small sized, lowland terrestrial or lithophytic native of penninsular Thailand at elevations less than 50 feet above sea level on limestone cliffs in leaf litter or moss or tree roots, that has linear-oblong, dark green mottled with pale green leaves with reddish underneath, this plant blooms with an erect, terminal, 3 to 4" [7.5 to 10 cm] long, 1 or 2 flowered, pale green to purple, tomentose inflorescence, from summer till spring and can take some full sun.
