Found in Sikim at elevations of 1500 to 1800 meters as a natural hybrid between P. fairrieanum × P. venustum as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with 5 to 7, lanceolate, light green with tesselations of deep green, spotted purple towards the base leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on an erect, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
