Common Name The Queen Victoria Paphiopedilum

Flower Size 3 1/4" [8 cm]

This medium sized, warm to cool growing, Sumatran terrestrial or lithophytic species is found on cliffs at elevations of 800 to 1600 meters with large, oblong, faintly mottled, minutely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect to arching, terminal, 24" [60 cm] long, dark brown, flexuous rachis, successively 1 to 2, many flowered inflorescence that has ovate, ciliate floral bracts.
