Common Name The Queen Victoria Paphiopedilum

Flower Size 3 1/4" [8 cm]

This medium sized, Sumatran terrestrial or lithophytic species is found on cliffsa at elevations of 800 to 1600 meters with large, oblong, faintly mottled leaves that are minutely bilobed apically that blooms on an erect to arching, terminal, 24" [60 cm] long, dark brown inflorescence with a flexuous rachis that has ovate, ciliate floral bracts and many flowers in succession, only allowing, at most two flowers to be open at a time, occuring in the spring.
