Common Name Herrman's Paphiopedilum [German Orchid Enthusiast current]

A natural hybrid between P. helenae × P. hirsutissimum var. esquirolei that occurs in northern Vietnam in coniferous, mixed, broad-leaved and evergreen closed forests in mosses and leaf litter on limestone and north facing limestone cliffs at elevations of 700 to 950 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epipyte that blooms in the late summer and fall on an erect, arcuate to 6.8" [17 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
