Common Name Linden's Paphinia [Belgian Orchid Gardener 1800's]

Flower Size 2.8 to 3.2" [7 to 8 cm]

Found from Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Peru at elevations around 100 to 600 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte in lowland rainforests with clustered, elliptical, smooth pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3 apical, ellitpic-oblong, acute to acuminate leaves with a slender, terete petiole and blooms in the spring on a pendant to 4" [10 cm] long, few to several [5 to 8] flowered inflorescence arising as a new pseudobulb growth arises and carrying non-resupinate flowers.
