Common Name The Bantaeng Bulbophyllum [An area of southern Sulawesi]

Found in southern Sulawesi in coppice at elevations around 2400 to 2900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short creeping rhizome with .12 to .32" [3 to 8 mm] between each distinct, erect, ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, elliptic to ovate to obovate, obtuse, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, peduncle 1.4 to 4.4" [3.5 to 11 cm] long, with 4 to 5 bracts, 1.8 to 5.6" [4.5 to 14 cm] long overall, single flowered inflorescence with apiculate floral bracts.
