Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Sri Lanka on hillcuttings on the open among herbs and grasses at elevations around 1500 to 1600 meters as a small to just medium sized terrestrial with an erect stem carrying about 6, all along the stem, increasing in size towards the apex, uppermost 2 smaller, lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, acute to acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on an erect, terminal, peduncle to 5.8" [14.5 cm] long, 3 brated well spaced, 7" [17.5 cm] long overall, rachis to 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
