Found in southern India as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, leafy towards the apex, distant 3 sheathed below, lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, terminal, somewhat lax, several to many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, as long as the ovary floral bracts.
