Found in eastern Nepal and southern India at elevations around 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, acute to acuminate, sessile leves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal erect inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, as long as the ovary floral bracts
