Common Name The Saddle Carrying Peristeria

Found in Guyana as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphtye with ovoid-oblong, strongly compressed, 3 to 4 sulcate lined, rugose pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a few small, membraneous, dark green sheaths and carrying 3 to 4, apical, plicate, 5 to 7 nerved, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, acute, attenuate below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a robust, pendant, basal, 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
