Common Name Czerwiakow's Phragmipedium [Polish Botanist 1800's]

A medium sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial species from Peru and Ecuador found at elevations of 600 to 800 meters with a fan of several, dark green, shiny, linear, acute, conduplicate below into the clasping base leaves that blooms in the fall through spring on an erect, terminal, to at least 9 1/4" [23 cm], long, racemose, successively single flowered inflorescence that carries a few [3] flowers.
