Common Name The Adjoining? Platanthera In China - Chang Bao Jian Lan

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in northwestern Yunnan province of China in bamboo forests at elevations around 3200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slightly curved stem with up to 5 tubular basal sheaths and carrying 1 to 3, spathulate to lorate-spathulate, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, secund, to 2.2" [5.5 cm] to 10 flowered inflorescence and has 2 to 3, lanceolate, foliaceous, sterile bracts and lanceolate, longer than the ovary, acuminate floral bracts.
