Found in Sardinia, Algeria, Tunisia in oak woodlands to 1300 meters as a medium to large sized [in bloom], cool growing terrestrial with a whorl of basal ovate, obtuse leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, 18 to 36" [45 to 90 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence
