Found in Colombia at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 thin, immbricating tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, subdense, distichous, to 3.2" [to 8 cm] long, simultaneously several to many flowered, racemose inflorescence with tubular floral bracts.
