Common Name The Anchor Pleurothallis [refers to the shape of the lip]

Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate into the slender petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer on an erect, arising laterally the ramicaul,flexible, lightly flexuous, to 3.6" [9 cm] long, including the filiform peduncle 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, loose, successively several flowered, racemose inflorescence with a much shorter than the pedicel floral bract.
"The sepals are long caudate, the petals are deeply lacerate with a long-setiform apex. The lip is trilobes with the black apex convex and long ciliate and a pair of large, uncinate lobes above the base. The disc is deeply cleft centrally with the cavity pubescent." Luer 2006
