Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 650 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized hot to warm growing epiphyte with filiform, flexuous, glabrous ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 pale brown sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly ligulate, minutely apiculate, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring, summer and fall on an erect, compressed, secund, 2" [5 cm] long, racemose, subdensely many flowered .
