Found in Antioquia department of Colombia as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly obovate, subacute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 3/4 to 1" [2.2 to 2.5 cm] long, capillary, more or less tuberculate spike giving rise to a fascile of solitary, successive flowering inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul.
