Common Name The Drooping Pleurothallis [refers to the inflorescence]

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Cochabamba Bolivia at elevations around 2450 to 2600 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with very slender, erect to suberect ramicauls with a close tubular sheath near the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, suberect to spreading, thinly coriaceous, elliptical, acute, acuminate, cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the early summer on 1 to 2, flaccid, pendent, slender, 10" [25 cm] long, simultaneously many flowered inflorescence arising from a small spathe at the base of the leaf.
