Common Name The Diverging Pleurothallis [refers to the bifurcating inflorescence]

Found in Costa Rica and Colombia at elevations around 365 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte.

Kew still has this one as a synonym of P aristata but the mini-miniature sized plant found at low elevations is easily distinguished by the short thick sepal tails, the bent dorsal sepal and a thick clavate, bulbous apically lip and the bifurcating inflorescence
