Found in the Dominican Republic at elevations of 900 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, purple, coriaceous, minutely denticulate, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter, spring and summer on an erect, .08" [2 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from near the base of the ramiucal within the basal sheaths and has an infundibular floral bract.
