Found in Monagas and Sucre Venezuela at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped at the base by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, congested, .4" [1 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul.
