Found in Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala at elevations around 350 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing, caespitose epiphyte with short ramicauls carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-lanceolate, tridentate apically, prominently dorsally carinate medially leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a filiform, thin, 1" [2.5 cm] long, successively single, to 5 flowered inflorescence.
