Common Name Lopez' Pleurothallis [Colombian Nurseryman with Colomborqideas current]

Found in Antioquia Colombia at elevations around 2600 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with stout erect ramicauls enveloped basally by a close fitting, tubular sheath above the base and another at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, subacute, acuminate, sessile and deeply cordate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a loose, distichous, strict, 12 to 14" [30 to 35 cm] long, simultaneously many flowered inflorescence arising through a reclining spathe and has thin, tubular floral bracts.
