Found in Ecuador as a miniature, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations 500 to 1650 meters in cloud forests with erect, slender, laterally compressed above the middle, subtended by 2 to 3 sheaths and another above the base carrying a coriaceous, somewhat spreading, ovate, acute leaf with a rounded, shallowly cordate, sessile base that blooms on a 1/2" [1.25 cm] long, fascile of solitary, successive flowers arising from aa reclining spathe with glabrous, snow white flowers.
