Common Name The Spherical-White Pleurothallis

Found in Pastaza, Morona-Santiago , Zamora-Chinchipe and Napo provinces of Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations 500 to 1650 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing, densely caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender, laterally compressed above the middle, subtended by 2 to 3 sheaths and another above the base carrying a coriaceous, somewhat spreading, ovate, acute leaf with a rounded, shallowly cordate, sessile base that blooms at most any time of the year on a arising from an erect-arcuate, reclining spathe, .5" [1.25 cm] long, fascile of successively single, few flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
