Found in Panama as a mini-miniature sized warm growing epiphyte with ascending to erect, slender, terete ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath belwo the middle and 1 to 2 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coricaeous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate to rounded below into the pewtiollate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an arching, 3.6 to 5.6" [9 to 14 cm] long, laxly distichous to secund, several flowered inflorescence arising througha narrow spathe at the base of the leaf.
