Common Name The Peperomia-Like Phloeophila

Flower Size

Found in Belize, Honduras and Costa Rica as a miniature sized epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to a recumbent, short ramicaul enveloped completely by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a single apical, round, apiculate, abruptly narrowing below into the base leaf that has an apical, racemose, longer than the leaf, successively several, single flowered inflorescence.

This species and Phloeophila nummularia from Brazil are incredibly similar and most likely are the same species and if so then Phloeophila nummularia takes precedence
