Found in Minas Gerais, Epiritu Santo, Sao Paulo and Parana states of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect, cylindric ramicauls enveloped by a single tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, thick, fleshy, lanceolate, acute, longly attenuate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an arching, much longer than the leaf, peduncle [1.6" [4 cm] long, rachis to .6" [1.5 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence arising through a basal spathe and carrying nodding flowers.
